FRZ Bull Bear Pressure Indicator for MT4 & MT5
This indicator shows bulls and bears pressure in a separate window on MT4 and MT5. It can be used to identify trend strength and in scalping strategies as a confirmation indicator. You can adjust the pressure period under settings.
The green histogram shows how far buyers pushed the high above the moving average (bulls pressure); the red histogram shows how far sellers pushed the low below it (bears pressure). The optional net pressure line combines the two, so you can see at a glance which side is in control – and get an alert when that changes.

Settings
Installation: in MetaTrader, open File > Open Data Folder, copy the .ex4 file into MQL4/Indicators (MT4) or the .ex5 file into MQL5/Indicators (MT5), restart MetaTrader, then drag the indicator from Navigator > Indicators onto your chart. The settings below appear on the indicator’s Inputs tab, numbered the same way.
Pressure Settings
- Pressure Period (default: 14) – period of the moving average that pressure is measured from. Shorter periods suit scalping; longer periods show the bigger trend.
- Average Method (default: Exponential) – Simple, Exponential, Smoothed or Linear Weighted.
- Show Net Pressure Line (default: true) – draw the combined bulls + bears pressure as a line. Above zero, buyers are in control; below zero, sellers are.
Alert Settings
- Alert When Net Pressure Changes Side (default: false) – when true, notifies you once when a candle closes and the net pressure has crossed zero.
- Alert Notification (default: true) – shows a MetaTrader alert popup with the details, pair and timeframe.
- Sound Notification (default: true) – plays a sound with the alert.
- Email Notification (default: false) – sends the alert by email. Set up your email account first under Tools > Options > Email.
- Phone Notification (default: false) – sends a push notification to the MetaTrader mobile app. Enter your MetaQuotes ID under Tools > Options > Notifications first.
Settings 5-8 only apply when setting 4 is switched on.
Display Settings
- Bulls Color (default: green).
- Bears Color (default: red).
- Net Pressure Line Color (default: dim gray).
