FRZ Account Watcher is a monitoring and alert EA for MT4 and MT5. It monitors your account, symbol, or magic-number exposure and sends email summaries and warning notifications so you can quickly manage your trading account and VPS setups.

Before You Start
- Enable Algo Trading / AutoTrading in your MetaTrader platform.
- Configure your platform email settings under Tools > Options > Email and verify using MetaTrader’s test email button first.
- Attach the EA to one chart only if you want account-level monitoring.
- Ensure MetaTrader remains running and your VPS stays online so the EA can send timely alert emails.
Installation
MT4 Installation
- Download the MT4 version of the EA.
- Copy the
.ex4file into your MT4 MQL4/Experts folder (File > Open Data Folder > MQL4 > Experts). - Restart MT4 or right-click the Navigator panel and select Refresh.
- Attach FRZ Account Watcher to a single chart.
- Enable AutoTrading.
MT5 Installation
- Download the MT5 version of the EA.
- Copy the
.ex5file into your MT5 MQL5/Experts folder (File > Open Data Folder > MQL5 > Experts). - Restart MT5 or right-click the Navigator panel and select Refresh.
- Attach FRZ Account Watcher to a single chart.
- Enable Algo Trading.

Dashboard Panel
The dashboard panel provides real-time account status and quick action buttons.

| Watcher Name | The short identifier for the monitored setup (e.g. Prop, Gold, VPS1). |
| VPS & Scope | Shows VPS reference and scope (Full Account, Symbol, or Magic Number). |
| Balance / Equity | Current account balance and equity. |
| Floating P/L | Current open profit or loss for the monitored scope. |
| Drawdown % | Current drawdown percentage for the monitored scope. |
| Margin Level | Current margin level percentage. |
| Open Trades | Total open trades with Buy/Sell lot breakdown. |
| Today Trades / Closed Today | Count of trades opened today and net profit from closed trades. |
| Days No Trade | Number of days since the last closed trade. |
| Next Email / AutoTrading | Scheduled daily email time and platform trading permission state. |
| Action Buttons | Send Test Email, Reset Alerts, and Minimize. |
Input Settings
Below is the EA input configuration. Settings are identical across MT4 and MT5.

| 6 | Daily Email Time (Server) | Server time when daily summary is sent (24-hour HH:MM format, e.g. 23:50). |
| 7 | Exclude Weekend Emails | Skips sending summary emails on Saturday and Sunday. |

| 8 | Enable Drawdown Alerts | Enables emails when drawdown reaches the specified limit. |
| 9 | Max Drawdown % for Alert | Maximum drawdown percentage that triggers an alert (e.g. 10.0%). |
| 10 | Enable No Trade Alerts | Enables alerts when no trades have closed for a set number of days. |
| 11 | Max No Trade Days for Alert | Number of inactive days allowed before a no-trade alert is sent. |
| 12 | Alert Repeat Frequency (Hours) | Minimum hours between repeat alerts of the same type (e.g. 12.0 hours). Prevents email spam. |
| 13 | Alert If AutoTrading / Algo Trading Disabled | Sends an alert if platform automated trading permission is turned off. |

Set Files
FRZ Account Watcher does not use .set files. Most settings (watcher scope, drawdown thresholds, email times, etc.) adapt to your specific account setup and VPS environment, so a fixed .set file is not required. Use the Input Settings table above as your configuration guide.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | What to check |
|---|---|
| No emails received | Test platform email setup under Tools > Options > Email first. Once MetaTrader test email works, click Send Test Email on the EA panel. |
| Daily email not sent | Verify Daily Email Time, broker server time, Enable Daily Summary, and Exclude Weekend Emails. |
| Drawdown alert email repeats | Check Alert Repeat Frequency (Hours). Increase hours if you want longer delays between repeat alerts. |
| No-trade alert triggered unexpectedly | Check your Monitor Scope setting (Symbol or Magic Number filter). The specific trade group may be inactive even if the whole account is trading. |
| Panel missing from chart | Click the restore button on the chart if minimized, or set Show Panel to true in EA inputs. |
| Breakeven close did not trigger | Ensure Close All Trades on Breakeven is enabled and the profit target threshold has been met. |
